May 2nd was a difficult start for the Husqvarna riders at the Grand Prix of Italy, the 2010 Supermotard World Champinship’s opening race held in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia).
Once again, the world champion Adrien Chareyre and the other bikers from the CH Racing-Husqvarna Team, sponsored by Vibram, had to grit their teeth on a circuit that does not match their abilities or skills.
Despite a difficult start, Adrien managed to gain positions in the last heat and earned fourth place at the end of the race.
Mauno Hermunen finished in the seventh position after a very difficult performance due to the lack of digging up.
Their 5th and 8th position in the S1 Championship top ten is just the first step and both the riders are ready to do better in the next Grand Prix of Germany, to be held on next July 11th on Sankt Wendel circuit.
