This 16th edition of the Pyramide d’Oz, the team ski mountaineering France Cup being part of the Trophée de l’Oisans, will be held next January 22nd, 2012 on a 15 km circuit, with a total difference in altitude of 2000 metres. The race features with at least three ascents and with technical descents down slopes reaching 60° dips and settled in a majestic and savage massif.

The record time to be broken is 2h 30'. The route B will be reserved to the individual athletes, while the route C will host the young enthusiasts of this discipline.

All the tourists will have the chance to join both the start and the finish of the race, whereas the vacationers engaged on the ski-tracks will be able to follow the Pyramide in its several stages.

The Pyramide d’Oz represents a successful match between different ways to practise ski on both glaciers and mountains, and helps to encourage the passion for ski mountaineering.
